Bettina Scovill is German by birth. She and Bart met while he was stationed in Germany and they were later married in Denmark. Bettina was trained as a photo reproductionist in Germany. She also studied as a Paralegal and draftsman in Gainesville, Florida. She has worked as a legal assistant and bookkeeper for multiple law firms. In addition to working at the firm, Bettina is a devoted mother to their two daughters. Bettina joined Bart in the office in 2005.
Michelle Montone graduated from Florida State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities. Immediately after graduation, she began her first job in Tallahassee as a legal assistant at a firm focusing in immigration law. For the next three years she learned everything she could about immigration law and the processes of a successful law firm. Over the next six years she moved around and continued to work in law firms in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and San Diego, California. After moving around the country, she settled in Naples, Florida where she began working with a sole practitioner who focused in immigration law as well. She was with this firm for the next 5 years and obtained her Paralegal certification over this time. In 2009, she met her husband and they married in 2011. In 2012, Michelle and her husband moved to the Sarasota area where they built a home and had a baby boy. When she’s not taking care of her family or working, Michelle enjoys music, theater and the beach.
